A quick answer on the entry document
Building and room assignments for the 2026 KPSS Secondary Education examination are complete. ÖSYM says the document has been available through AİS since 14:00 on October 14, 2026, and the exam takes place on Sunday, October 25. Download it now and read the building, room and timing on your own record.
The key timing rule is explicit: candidates will not be admitted to examination buildings after 10:00 on October 25. Plan for the journey, entrance queue and security procedure rather than looking only at the exam start time. Use the information on your own entry document, not a location or time reposted online.
How should you check the document in AİS?
Where should official information be verified?
ÖSYM states that candidates obtain the document with their Turkish identity number and candidate password through AİS. Type the official address yourself and do not trust redirected links requesting a password. When it opens, compare your name, photograph, centre, building, room and seat information carefully.
Downloading and printing the document means that you are not dependent on a device or connection on exam morning. If a detail appears unclear, use the official routes in the ÖSYM notice and guide rather than commentary pages. Another candidate’s screenshot cannot verify your assignment.
Why does the 10:00 rule change travel planning?
The 2026 guide gives 10:15 as the exam start and 130 minutes as its duration. It also says admission to exam buildings will be completed by 10:00. Those times mean that arriving at the gate at 10:00 is not a safe plan.
Add Sunday traffic, public-transport waiting, an entrance queue and the risk of finding the wrong gate to the map’s travel estimate. Checking the route a day earlier can help. For an unfamiliar school, read the building name and the address on the entry document together.
Prepare what you need using the official document
The entry document is more than a route note: it is the basic record for your own session. Read ÖSYM’s current basic rules separately and prepare accepted identity documentation and materials according to the latest notice. Do not treat a list left over from a previous exam as automatically current.
Check validity, recognisability of the photograph and the physical condition of your identity document before the final night. Compare every item you intend to carry with the exam rules. When unsure, reopen the official rule and avoid carrying an item that could be prohibited.
Build a calm exam-morning sequence
Where should official information be verified?
Putting the document, identity card and travel plan in one place the night before reduces decisions in the morning. Note wake-up time, departure and target arrival separately. Instead of planning around a possible delay, include a reasonable time buffer.
After entering the building, check the room number once more and follow staff directions. Last-minute claims about the exam can be distracting, particularly at the gate. If ÖSYM issues a new notice, give priority only to that notice and your personal AİS record.
Do not mix up KPSS and DHBT dates
Secondary Education KPSS and DHBT are separate processes. The 2026 guide lists November 1 as the DHBT date, with a 10:15 start and a 60-minute duration. It also explains the participation condition for candidates taking DHBT at secondary-education level.
Check document, time and building separately for every exam. Information on one entry document does not replace another. While making your schedule, follow application, examination and result notices on ÖSYM’s own pages; dates from earlier years are not a current source.
A final checklist
Open AİS today; view the entry document; read name, photograph, building, room and seat; save the route; prepare identity and document; then set your departure around the 10:00 rule. This short sequence can reduce avoidable problems on exam morning.
This guide relies on ÖSYM’s October 14 entry-document notice, the 2026 KPSS Secondary Education guide and the official exam calendar. A newer ÖSYM notice takes priority if one is published. This is technical preparation guidance; the current record in the candidate’s own account remains decisive.

Practical preparation for the final two days
On the day before the examination, open the document again and compare the building on your printed copy with the AİS record. Consider the stop, transfer and walking portion of the route separately. Leave a small allowance for weather or unexpected congestion. If someone will drive you, agree the meeting point and time clearly; trying to find directions by car at the examination gate can cost time.
It is also useful to arrange personal routines such as sleep, breakfast and medication in advance, independently of exam rules but consistently with the travel plan. Rather than trying a new study method on exam day, prioritise required items such as the document and identity card. If a staff direction seems inconsistent with the room number on your document, ask the staff member calmly.
ÖSYM notices have the force of notification for candidates. Check the notice page once more before leaving, but do not share personal information because of a rumour chain. Your AİS password belongs only to you. If you used a shared device, sign out. Once the document, identity and route are verified, the practical preparation is complete.
