A short answer for the final day
Applications for the e-TEP 2026/4 English electronic proficiency examination close at 23:59 on November 5, 2026. The current ÖSYM AİS entry lists the examination on November 14, 2026. Saving an application alone is not enough: complete the sequence in the guide and check the payment as well.
ÖSYM says applications may be made through an application centre or AİS. At the end of an individual application, the screen should display “Başvuru İşlemi ÖSYM’ye Bildirilmiştir.” Check your own account immediately rather than assuming a late transaction has been completed; a connection or payment delay can matter near the deadline.
Who can apply?
Use the official text
Candidate conditions in the guide are the starting point. Compare your own age, degree, citizenship and other qualifications with the full guide. An open application screen does not establish that every appointment condition is met; declarations must be accurate for the Ministry of Justice assessment.
Review your education record exactly as it appears in AİS. If the YÖKSİS record is incomplete or personal details conflict, do not try to solve it by guesswork at the last minute. Follow the guide’s official explanations about application centres and information updates, and use an authorised route where needed.
How is an application completed?
Enter AİS directly through the official address or the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions mobile application. After choosing the examination, read identity, education and contact fields carefully. The guide makes the candidate responsible for information entered in the form and system. Do not approve a phone number, email address or education record without checking it.
After the transaction record is created, complete payment. For normal applications, the guide says the the applicable examination fee fee is paid by credit or debit card in ÖSYM e-Transactions “Payments” between October 20 and 27; payment should not be made through a bank or ATM. Follow the official screen flow rather than paying before making the application.
Check the fee and deadlines together

The application deadline and payment deadline may differ. For this exam, applications end at 23:59 on October 26, while the guide states that normal applicants can pay through the card system until October 27. Check both the current notice and the transaction status in your own AİS record.
Keeping a receipt or transaction reference is useful, but the decisive check is the application status in AİS. The guide says that if the fee is not paid in time, application information is deleted, the record is cancelled and no entry document is issued. Use the account status, not a screenshot, as your final confirmation.
Capacity and exam day
The guide lists November 5, 2026 as the end of the application period for candidates who miss the ordinary period. Recheck fee and completion details on the official screen that day; do not treat old social posts as rules. A late route does not remove the need to meet every condition.
The exam is scheduled at ÖSYM Electronic Examination Centres on November 14, 2026, and may be delivered electronically in e-exam centres depending on applicant numbers. The final city, building and room appear in the entry document available from AİS during exam week. Plan travel provisionally, then rely on your own document.
Tests and documents
The guide describes a 35-question General Ability and General Culture Test and a 45-question Field Knowledge Test. Build study time around the topic headings listed in the guide, not question numbers alone. If an official update appears, the current announcement and guide take priority.
During exam week, candidates need the entry document obtained from AİS and the original of a photographic identity document: national ID card, Turkish Republic ID card, or an unexpired photographic passport. Once the document is released, verify the centre and time again because candidates cannot sit in a room other than the assigned one.
Final checklist
Today, check the application record, accuracy of personal information, official payment channel and AİS status. Never share your password, and sign out after using a shared computer. ÖSYM notes that the candidate password is also used in later transactions.
This guide relies on ÖSYM’s announcement, the AİS transaction calendar and the 2026 e-TEP English Examination guide. A later official announcement takes precedence. If personal eligibility is uncertain, use the authorised channels in the guide instead of proceeding on an assumption.
Review the record after applying
After completing the application, spend a few minutes opening the AİS record again. Review the examination name, application status, contact details and the indication that payment has been completed together. The guide recommends obtaining a printout of candidate application information and retaining it because it may be needed at later stages. Do not leave that record in a public place; it can contain personal data.
If an item needs changing, read the official explanation to see which screen applies and until when the change can be made. Not every change on a profile page automatically affects an examination record. The guide notes that an identity-information change may first require the MERNİS process. Rather than repeatedly submitting a form in the final hours, follow the correct transaction page and the AİS notice.
A safe, calm transaction order
Be cautious about payment or password requests arriving through unofficial links. Type the address yourself to enter AİS, and open the payment page through ÖSYM’s route. Sharing a password, national ID number or application document does not make an application check easier. If help is required, use the official contact route in the announcement.
Finally, follow new notices regularly but without treating speculation as an update. Your personal AİS document is decisive for the examination centre, entry document and delivery details. This separates completion of today’s application from preparation for the examination day and keeps each stage tied to the right record.
